Vinc

Vinc born in 1961, The “peintre-chéri“ of Geneva’s High Society is well known for his “One-Night shows”, and his popularity spreads not just in Europe. Recently Vinc has conquered the Asian metropolitan cities of Singapore and Seoul.

Since childhood Vinc dreamt of California long before his parents took him to United States in 1979. He later lived ten years in Los Angeles where he established his own streetware company. The energy of the American way of life with its buzzing cities and lights, with its bold colors influenced his work as an artist. Vinc recalls his first night in Hollywood where he observed with fascination with the large lit-up bill boards that shimmered through the window of his room. The nostalgia of the US stimulates his work still today. Vinc’s curiosity for metropolitan cities around the world is reflected in his work. His native home of Switzerland equally became a source of inspiration for his later works. Vinc captures on canvas special moments and specific details of the Swiss scenery with its lakes and mountains to catch the viewer’s eye. Combining exquisite and ornamental designs with bold colors, his paintings turn into witnesses of the actual „zeitgeist“. His works always put the contemplator in love with life.
